PURPOSE:To obtain a diazo heat-sensitive recording material having excellent heat respondence and excellent coloring density by laminating orderly an undercoat layer containing a cellulosic high molecular compound, a heat-sensitive chromogenic layer containing a diazo compound, a coupler, an a heat-meltable substance, and a surface layer on a supporter. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of a supporter having a gas imperviousness (e.g., of such a plastic sheet as polyester, PE, etc.), an undercoat layer containing a cellulosic high molecular compound (e.g., nitro cellulose, acetayl cellulose, etc.), a heat-sensitive chromogenic layer containing a diazo compound (e.g., a compound of the formula), a coupler (e.g., 2,6-dihydroxy-3,4-dibrom-4-methoxy benzoic acid, etc.), and a heat-meltable substance (e.g., stearic acid amide, etc.), and a surface layer containing a high molecular compound (e.g., cellulose acetate, etc.) are orderly laminated to obtain an objective heat-sensitive recording material. EFFECT:Head matching property and long-term storage stability are excellent. |
