PURPOSE:To provide an ion selecting electrode which is easy to exchange with a fingertip operation by forming metallic layers on both inside and outside surfaces of a cylindrical base body, connecting both metallic layers electrically with through-holes and forming an ion sensitive layer on the surface of the inside metallic layer. CONSTITUTION:An ion selecting electrode 3 is constituted of an insulating base body 1 assuming a cylindrical shape, electrode layers 2, 5 formed on both surfaces of the body 1, an ion sensitive layer 4 formed on the surface of the layer 2, and through-holes connecting the layers 2, 5 electrically. The electrode 3 can be mounted to a holder by a cartridge system; for example, the end part of the electrode 3 is fitted into a movable part 6, and the part 6 is slid in an arrow direction; thereafter, the other end part of the electrode 3 is brought into contact with the layer 5 and is guided to the end part of a contactor 8 which draws electric signal to the outside. The electrode 3 is pressed and held in the part 6 by the spring in a fixing part 7a until the other end part 6 by the spring in a fixing part 7a until the other end part thereof abuts on a sealing material 13. |
