<p>PURPOSE:To perform automatic powering-on control over a computer system and accessory equipment by connecting an automatic powering-on control part to a power source controller. CONSTITUTION:Next powering-on time from a computer system 1 is set in the time register 10 in a control part 7, and the system 1 sets the flag register 11 in the control part 7. The contents of the register 10 are compared with a real- time clock 12 and when the value of the clock 12 is equal to or greater than the value of the register 10, a coincidence signal is sent out to a comparator 14. The comparator 14 compares the coincidence signal with the centents of the flag register 11 and when the flag register is set, an indication is sent to a controller 2, which turns on the power source. According to the contents of the register 11, the controller 2 is driven and then reset. The power source is turned off as usual.</p> |
