PURPOSE:To produce a small-sized and easily producible temperature detector having high characteristics and high reliability by changing the inductance of a coil in an oscillating circuit through an amorphous alloy magnetic substance of which magnetic characteristic is suddenly changed at a temperature higher than its curie point. CONSTITUTION:A temperature sensor 2 is composed of amorphous alloy mag- netic plates 4a, 4b of which inductance is suddenly reduced at a temperature higher than its curie point and a sealed coil 3 to detect the inductance. In said configuration the inductance of an oscillating circuit 5 provided with the coil 3 and a series coil is suddenly changed at a temperature higher than the curie point, so that the curie temperature is detected without using a bimetal of which position is changed. Thus a small-sized, long life and highly reliable temperature detector having high characteristics such as high response and the high degree of applicating freedom in addition to easy producibility and high productivity is obtained. |
