PURPOSE:To eliminate the possibility of damaging sheet materials to improve the quality of a product by jetting between a sheet material and a transport path for it to float the sheet material on the transport path at a space therebetween, and transporting the sheet material in such a condition. CONSTITUTION:In case of contact printing a film in a contact printing apparatus, a cover 3 is first opened to locate and place a negative film 82 on a glass plate 6. Then, the cover 3 is closed to start the apparatus, and a rolled film is fed out by rotation of a roller 27. After the leading end of the film is adsorbed by a sucking disc 65, the film 23 is transferred onto the negative film 82 by operation of a transport apparatus 42. In such a condition, the film 23 is cut by a cutter 26, and a image of the negative film 82 is printed on the film 23 by lightening of a light source 84. After that, air is emitted from a nozzle 69 to separate a print film 83 from the negative film 82 to be floated, and in such a floating condition, the film is moved to the right with movement of the transport apparatus 42 to be fed out between guide plates 73, 74. |
