<p>PURPOSE:To prevent demarking process for a stripe wrongly, by inspecting the state of a tape lifter when the demarking process is carried out. CONSTITUTION:An interface circuit 5 which transfers the signals to a data recording control mechanism (DRC) receives an instruction having the sequence as shown the diagram from a TAGBUS. For A of TAGBUS which is shown in the diagram, the demark instruction, the reading instruction and the writing instruction are 1, 6 and 7 respectively. While B is O. Thus the reading/writing operation is carried out for an actual data. An interface circuit 5 feeds the signal of the TAGBUS to a decoding circuit 6, and the circuit 6 decodes the instruction and then sends the signal to a latching circuit 7 when the instruction indicates 1 to command a demarking process to latch the circuit 7. The circuit 7 inhibits that a driving circuit 8 drives a solenoid 9 until the circuit 7 is reset.</p> |
