PURPOSE:To control a hydraulic pressure with high accuracy and without any scattering, by a method wherein rear wheel brake pressure is controlled by controlling a solenoid valve on the basis of a signal fed from a hydraulic pressure sensor. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid valve 22 is provided between a master cylinder 16 and a rear wheel brake 20, and is controlled by a controlling circuit 30 incorporating a microcomputer. Master cylinder pressure is detected by a hydraulic pressure sensor 24, and a pressure signal is inputted into the circuit 30 together with signals fed from load sensors 26, 28. The circuit 30 controls the valve 22 on the basis of the signal, thereby controlling the rear wheel brake pressure. Accordingly, since the rear wheel brake pressure is controlled by detecting the hydraulic pressure in the master cylinder, the hydraulic pressure of the rear wheel brake can be accurately controlled irrespectively of changes in temperature or with time. |
