PURPOSE:To attain both side recording clearly with fidelity without using a storage device, by individually reading pictures on left and right pages of a book type original at a glance. CONSTITUTION:With a book type original 1 placed closing on a platen 2, reading units 3, 4 are horizontally moved toward the arrow along slide shafts 6, 7 while keeping the units at a reading interval l, for the scanning of a picture of the original 1. The platen 2 of the reading means is formed into folded shape having an angle theta, and the reading units 3, 4 are provided in opposition to each slope of the units 3, 4. Since the reading position of the units 3, 4 is shifted apart from the same interval as the bus of the storage head, the both side recording is done without using the storage means (memory). |
