PURPOSE:To ensure stable idling operation, by communicating a fuel passage, in which a needle formed as an integral unit with a suction piston is inserted, to an intake passage through an air bleed passage and providing an air bleed control adjusting screw in an inlet part of the air bleed passage. CONSTITUTION:The captioned carburetor is operated in such a manner that a suction piston 3 is moved in an intake passage 2 correspondingly to an intake air quantity to change area of a Venturi part 8 while a needle 4 connected to said piston 3 is intruded into a fuel passage 20 to cooperatively work with a metering jet 21 and measure fuel. Then the passage 20 is communicated to a float chamber 7 through a pipe 22 in the upstream side of the jet 21. Here the passage 20 is communicated in the passage 2 in the upstream of said piston 3 through an air bleed passage 27 and air bleed control adjusting screw device 28. Then an air circulative path 43 is formed in an adjusting screw 41 of said device 28, and an air bleed quantity can be adjusted by turning operation of the screw 41. |
