PURPOSE:To set exactly an optimum value of a threshold, and to simplify an operation, by visually displaying a level on a histogram corresponding to a set threshold level, by a mark. CONSTITUTION:An energy dispersion type fluorescent X-ray analyzing device 1 applies an X-ray detecting signal from a semiconductor detector 4 of a body scanning part 3 of a scanning type electronic microscope 2, to a multi-channel analyzer 5, and displays a result of analysis by histogram display based on discrimination of a crest value of each pulse. In this case, a threshold setting circuit 12 is provided with a circuit 14 for operating a value on an axis of ordinate of a display picture of the analyzer 5 corresponding to a threshold level shown by a threshold data D, and a controlling circuit 15 for displaying a pointer mark on a position following a result of opration in accordance with its operation data DA, and a threshold level by a setting device 10 is visually displayed on a position of the pointer mark moving along the axis of ordinate on the display picture of the analyzer 5. |
