PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution, by rotating a lens system around an axis which is different from the light axis of the lens system, obtaining the image signals of an object point at least at two modes of lens positions, and computing the absolute positional information of the object point based on said signals. CONSTITUTION:At the tip part of a stic 5, two light emitting parts 5a and 5b are fixed by a T shaped transparent body 5c with a distance (h) being provided. The light emitting part 5b is positioned at the object point. The light emitting part 5a is positioned at the location, where a straight line 5a 5b is formed. The line 5a 5b in an object with which the direction of a rotary axis 1a of a sensor S is aligxed. The images of both light emitting parts are formed on a light forming plane 4 in a main body by the lens systems 2 and 2' which are eccentrically arranged by l/2 from the rotary axis. The positional information of both light emitting parts is computed based on the image information from the lens 2. Then, the sensor is rotated by 180 deg., and the positional information of both light emitting parts is computed based on the image information from the lens 2'. Based on these pieces of the information, the absolute positions of the points 5a and 5b, the attitude of the straight line 5a 5b, and the like are obtained. |
