PURPOSE:To increase the heat exchange efficiency between water and exhaust gas within the drum body by installing a fine pipe group through which exhaust gas from the burner in lateral direction within the drum body, and maldistributing fine pipes at the lower part within the drum body more than those at the center thereof. CONSTITUTION:Water is poured through a water feed port 4 into a subtank 3 connected to the drum body 1 by means of a pipe 2. Further, combustion of a burner 7 is carried out in a combustion chamber 6 formed within the drum body 1, and water within the drum body 1 is heated in a step in which exhaust gas flows through a plurality of fine pipes 8, air collection chamber 9, to exhaust pipe 10. Heated water is circulated within outgoing pipe 12 in coming pipe 13 by means of a pump 11. In this case, the fine pipes 8 are installed in the lateral direction within the drum body 1, and more pipes are disposed at the lower part of the drum body 1 than those disposed at the center thereof. Further, the pipes are distributed to be disposed in left and right hands within the drum body 1, and inclined so that the right side which is the upstream side of the exhaust gas flow becomes the upper side and the left side which is the downstream side thereof becomes the lower part. Also, an outgoing pipe 12 penetrates the center of the fine pipe group 8 from the lower part. |
