PURPOSE:To enable to prevent mixing of refrigerant medium or the like into supplying hot-water at the time of water leakage by a method wherein the water leakage is detected by the electric conduction of a detecting ring attached to the tube equipped with water leakage detecting grooves through an insulating ring, in a heat exchanger for supplying hot-water in a refrigerating cycle. CONSTITUTION:Gas of high-temperature, high-pressure refrigerant medium from a compressor heats the water for supplying hot-water in the heat exchanger 2 for supplying the hot-water. In this heat exchanger 2, the inner tube 10-1 of the tube 10 equipped with the leakage detecting grooves is utilized for the path of water for supplying hot-water while the path of the refrigerant medium is formed by the outer tube 10-4 and the outside tube 11 of the tube 10 equipped with the grooves. When water leakage is caused by the errosion of the inner tube 10-1, leaked water flows down through the grooves 10-5 and is collected in the depression of the detecting ring 26 facked to the inner tube 10-1 through the insulating ring 25, then, the detecting terminals 27-1, 27-2 of the outer tube 10-4 and the detecting ring 26 are conducted, the switch 27-3 for the leakage detector 27 is operated to stop the compressor and, thus, prevents the mixing of the refrigerant medium or the like. In the case, the detecting ring 26 is meshed with and secured to the groove 10-2 of the inner tube 10-1 at the meshing part 25-1 of the insulating ring 25, therefore, is secured surely. |
