PURPOSE:To improve the cooling efficiency of a superconductive field coil and a mounting shaft by introducing cooling coolant from the central periphery of a shaft through a coolant supply tube toward the outer peripheral direction of a rotor. CONSTITUTION:The lead part 6a of a coolant supply tube 6 is inserted along the shaft of a rotor into a coolant container 3 at the periphery of the center of the rotor shaft, and the outlet of the part 6 is directed toward the outer peripheral direction of the rotor. In other words, the outlet of the lead part 6a of the tube 6 is disposed at the position which substantially coincides with the radial penetrating hole 2b formed at the mounting shaft 1 contacted with a superconductive field coil 1. Accordingly, liquid helium or the like which is exhaust from the lead part 6a of the tube by the centrifugal force produced upon rotating of the rotor is led to the hole 2b of the mounting shaft, thereby cooling the field coil 1 and improving the cooling efficiency. |
