PURPOSE:To enable the simulation of the condition of stress of a part having a non-continuous shape without the action of an axial tension, by adjusting arbitrarily the stress of a welded member, by giving forced displacement in the radial direction of the welded member, and by making adjustable the difference in the amount of displacement in the radial direction between the welded member and a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical body 1 to be tested is formed of a cylinder member 1a to be tested and a end plate member 1b in a pair. Supporting cylinders 2 and 2' are fitted freely in the cylinder member 1a. Ring-shaped supporting members 3 and 3' bear the cylinder member 1a slidably from the outside. A male taper ring 16 is arranged in a cylinder space S and moves slidably, with its inner peripheral surface, on the supporting cylinder 2 through the intermediary of packings 9 and 10. A female taper ring 17 has a taper 17a engaging with the taper 16a of the male taper ring 16, and is divided into a plurality on a plane containing an axial core. A stopper 18 regulates the amount of movement of the male taper ring 16. Pressure liquid L is made to flow in from the inlet 11 for liquid of the supporting cylinder 2' in the direction of an arrow A. |
