FLOW DIRECTION CONTROLLER

摘要

PURPOSE:To control a flow direction throughout the total circumference of a cross flow fan, by using a circular arc shaped control blade provided internally of the fan and a stabilizing member turnably interlocked to said blade and located externally of the fan. CONSTITUTION:A motor 3 is rotated to rotate a cross flow fan 2 through rotary motion of an end plate 4B fixed to a shaft 10 of the motor 3. When a circular arc shaped control blade 17 provided internally of the fan is in a position as shown by the drawing, if assuming a rotary direction of the fan 2 is clockwise as shown by an arrow head C, a low pressure vortex V also becomes a vortex having clockwise rotation. This vortex V is formed in a concaved range of the blade 17 because the blade 17 is formed to a circular arc shape and its both ends 24, 25 are situated in the vicinity of the internal periphery 26 of the fan 2. Here a stabilizing member 27 turnably interlocked to the blade 17 and located externally of the fan can prevent an unnecessary spread of the low pressure vortex V and its movement to enable a stable vortex and realize and efficient flow.
