PURPOSE:To form a document through the use of only characters to be handled easily at a telex device, by providing a function capable of checking and alarming the input of characters not to be handled at the telex device. CONSTITUTION:When character information is keyed in from an input section 2, the character information is converted and processed into an electric signal one by one character. The telex device retrieves and collates each character information on a character table containing processable character information with the character information inputted and processed. When it is discriminated that the keyed-in character information exists, the information is displayed via a display 4 at the next process or printed out via a print section 5. When it is discriminated that the keyed-in character information does not exist, a buzzer as an alarm device sounds. The operator replaces the characters not processed at the telex device into the other characters processeable at the telex device and keyed in alternately. |
