PURPOSE:To smoothly scan an original by an optical system, and to obtain an image of a good quality, by holding both ends of a driving means by a magnification converting member which changes a transfer member for transferring driving force to the driving means, to a position corresponding to magnification. CONSTITUTION:When driving force of an optical system is transferred to a driving pulley 13 by a motor 20, the first moving reflector 2 moves as a wire 18 moves, and the surface of an original is scanned. A driving pulley 12 moves the second moving reflector 3 and the third moving reflector 4 at a half speed of the first moving reflector 2 by a theory of a running block. In case of converting magnification of the optical system moving in this way, it can be executed by operating a magnification converting member 17. That is to say, in case of reducing the magnification, it can be executed by moving a lens 5 to the front, namely, a position shown by a dotted line in the figure, fixing it, and also turning the magnification converting member 17 counterclockwise. |
