PURPOSE:To realize the efficient heating of water by a method wherein low temperature feed water is prevented from mixing with water to be taken out for use, while the feed water is supplied to a collector at a temperature as low as possible. CONSTITUTION:A second hot water storage tank 8 is communicated through an overflow path 9 to a first hot water storage tank 1, in the upper layer of which a water temperature sensor 13 is provided so that an automatic operating device 16 brings a feed water passage 14 into the state capable of feeding water, only when the temperature detected by the sensor 13 exceeds a set value. In other words, when the hot water temperature detected by the sensor 13 becomes higher, water is fed through a valve 15 to the bottom of the first hot water storage tank 1 and as a result high temperature upper layer water is pushed up and supplied to the second hot water storage tank 8. As a result, however, the temperature detected by the sensor 13 lowers, when the water level in the second hot water storage tank 8 detected by a water level sensor 12 exceeds a level (c), the valve 15 is closed. In such a manner as mentioned above, low temperature feed water does not mix with the water in the second hot water storage tank and low temperature water is supplied to the collector 5, resulting in improving the heat collection efficiency. |
