PURPOSE:To control the impressing energy of a head without using a temperature sensor, by predicting the temperature rise in the head with recording data. CONSTITUTION:Recording data 11 and a transmission clock 12 are given to a head driver 22 and a black data amount detection circuit 21. The information of the black data amount detected at the circuit 21 is given to an impressing pulse generating circuit 23, impressing pulses matched to the black data amount is generated and given to the head driver 22. A thermo sensing recording head 24 is heated according to the impressing pulse at the driver 22, allowing to adjust the impressing energy to the head 24. |
