<p>PURPOSE:To easily perform positioning with simple construction in a pad spring supporting a pair of brake pads to a torque member, by providing a protrusive part protruded to a side of the torque member and engaging said protrusive part to an engagement groove formed to the torque member. CONSTITUTION:A disc brake is equipped with a torque member 1 having two arm parts 2 provided across a disc while at a distance in the direction of rotation of the disc, calipers 4 fixed to a slide pin 5 slidably inserted into said arm parts 2, and a pair of brake pads 7 arranged to the inside of an arm part 4b of said caliper 4. This pad 7 is slidably supported to the member 1 by a pad spring 19. Here a protrusive part 22 protruding to a side of the member 1 is equipped in a part of a fixed element 20 of the spring 19, while the part 22 is engaged to the member 1, further an engagement groove 17 holding a lubricating agent in the inside is formed.</p> |
