摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the titled device, wherein electric fields can be concentrated and mutual induction between lead terminals can be prevented, by attaching the lead terminal of a first electrode to the inner wall of a nozzle or in the vicinity thereof, laminating the lead terminal on the inner layer of a substrate consituting the nozzle, and taking out the lead. CONSTITUTION:The first electrode 4 is provided in the inner wall of an orifice 2 or in the vicinity thereof. The lead terminal 5 from the first electrode 4 is taken out of the laminated structure in an orifice plate 3. A negative bias of 2-4kV is applied to a second electrode 7. A pulse voltage (printing information signal) of 500-1,000V is applied to the first electrode 4. Then the potential difference between both electrodes is increased. The electrostatic force yielded by the concentration of the electric fields overcomes the meniscus surface tension yielded on the surface of the orifice. Then the ink drops are flown from the orifice 2, and the printing is performed on a recording paper 6.
