<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the deterioration in the basic performance and to improve the reliability in a rotating two-head VTR using a head in which the number of windings is considerably less than that of the standard, by selecting the number of windings of the video head to different values for both channels. CONSTITUTION:In figure of cross section where a rotor core 23 and a stator core 19 are opposed with each other, windings 24, 25 of the rotor and taken as one turn being 1/4 of the standard windings, and the stator side winding remains unchanged. Since the number of turns of the stator is different, the dispersion in the output at recording is solved by adding an impedance compensation circuit to the next stage of a recording amplifier. The unbalance of the output level at reproduction is corrected by providing a gain compensating circuit 35 for the next stage of a reproducing amplifier 9a. Thus, the rotary transformer is matched and the flicker due to unbalanced output levels is prevented. The C/N of a reproduced video signal (ratio of noise to reproduced carrier frequency component) is kept the same value as that of conventional value and the unbalance of the transmission characteristics is solved.</p> |
