PURPOSE:To keep the fluctuation within a prescribed permissible range, even if power amplification is failed, by changing the automatic gain control state in response to a failure detection signal of each power amplifier. CONSTITUTION:An output from a basic device 11 is distributed at a distributor 12 and led to power amplifiers 14-1-14-4. Outputs of each power amplifier are synthesized at a synthesizer 13 and given to an antenna 15. The output of the synthesizer 13 is given to a terminal of an AGC amplifier 16 via a diode 18 and a reference voltage is given to the other input of the AGC amplifier 16 from a reference voltage controller 17. A prescribed value is determined for the reference voltage in response to a failure signal from the power amplifiers 14-1- 14-4. |
