PURPOSE:To make the correction of an air-fuel ratio easy, by controlling a air- fuel ratio controlling mechanism in a carburettor in accordance with a signal such as, for example, a detecting signal for the flow of fuel transferred under pressure from a fuel pump to the carburettor. CONSTITUTION:A carburettor 1 is provided with a main fuel system comprising a main jet 21, a main air-bleed 22 and a nozzle 23, and a low speed fuel system comprising a slow jet 31, a slow air-bleed 32 and a slow port 33. In this arrangement, an auxiliary fuel jet 42 disposed in the bottom part of a float chamber, may be blocked by the lower end face 41 of a plunger 45 which is moved downward when a solenoid 4 is energized. Further, air may be added into a slow fuel passage 34 through a passage 5 when an auxiliary air bleed 44 which is opened and closed by the upper end face 43 of the plunger 45, is opened. Further, the solenoid 4 is controlled by an electronic circuit in accordance with parameters such as, for example, the flow of fuel, the flow of air, the pressure of intake- air and the speed of the engine. |
