PURPOSE:To obtain a titled pulse arc welding machine which prevents formation of a wire ball on the tip of a wire, and improves a starting property of the following welding, by stopping a welding current output command when welding ends, and at the time when a base current period ends after a fixed time limit elapses. CONSTITUTION:In a consumable electrode type pulse arc welding machine, when a welding start switch 12 is opened at the time of the end of welding, a normally opening contact 14A of a relay 14 is opened, a wire feed motor 20 is stopped, and feed of a wire 22 is stopped. At the same time, a normally closing contact 14B of the relay 14 is closed, and a timing circuit 28 is operated. After a fixed time limit passes, when its signal is transmitted to a timing circuit 38, the normally closing contact 14B of a relay 40 is opened, and an outputting circuit 34 stops its operation. As a result, an output of a welding current is stopped and welding is ended. According to this circuit configuration, a large wire ball is not formed at the tip of the wire after welding ends, and start at the time when starting the following welding is stabilized. |
