PURPOSE:To prevent the stoppage of a press due to the clogging by dust by such an arrangement wherein the contact angle between an ink fountain blade and a tangent line at the contact point between the ink fountain blade and an ink fountain roller is adjusted to an angle of 10-20 deg.. CONSTITUTION:By setting the contact angle alpha between an ink fountain blade 2 and a tangent line L at the contact point A between the blade 2 and an ink fountain roller 1 to an angle of between 10-20 deg., ink scraping becomes optimum and the clogging of ink by dust is hardly generated. By this arrangement wherein the contact angle between the ink fountain roller and the ink fountain blade has been improved like this, the number of such troubles as of cleaning the press by stopping it can be considerably reduced. |
