PURPOSE:To measure precisely the temp. of a steel plate in a heating furnace by measuring and calculating emitted temperatures at three points provided so that the distances from the same point of the steel plate existing in the heating furnace are different and a temp. of a gas in the furnace. CONSTITUTION:Emission thermometers 3a, 3b, 3c are provided at the positions which direct respectively to the same point of the steel plate 2 existing in the heating furnace 1 and is located at the distances 1, 2, 3 from the point. An arithmetic device 4 calculated a steel plate surface temp. due to outputs from the thermometers 3a, 3c. The device 4 can calculates simultaneously a radiation coefft. of the steel plate and an absorption coefft. of the gas surrounding the steel plate by furthermore inputting the gas temp. from a conventional thermocouple thermometer 5. Thereby, a verification of the heating furnace control can be performed precisely. |
