PURPOSE:To improve the access efficiency and to decrease an index section, by using a value existing between a maximum key value of a corresponding page and a minimum key value of the next page as a key value for registering it to the index key section. CONSTITUTION:A record having the maximum key value of an entry page Pe is used as a record RB and the key value is used as AAAA1. A record having a minimum key of the next page Pn is used as a record RC and its key value is used as BAAA1. A key value registered in the index key section corresponding to the entry page is used as AZ in this case. That is, the value existing between the key value AAAA1 and the key value BAAA1 is used as the key value registered in the index key section. Further, the record having a key value equal to a page sharing key value is stored to the next target page in the order of the entry page or keys. |
