JOIN OPERATION PROCESSING SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To execute a join operation among plural relations at high speed by adopting the multi-stage structure of plural consitution of sort boxes performing data comparison and sort processing in the form synchronized with data transfer. CONSTITUTION:An exclusive function processor SEP group performs actual data accessing based on an intermediate language sequence for data processing transferred from a command processor CP group. Data distributors DD 11-16 being one building block of the exclusive function processor SEP group share data transfer according to data values to be set with respect to the transferred data. Plural constitution amount the data distributors DD 11-16 and sort boxes SB 31-36 sorting the transfer data is adopted as the multi-stage structure via a communication network CN50. Thus, the join operation between two relations (or called tables) R1 and R2 is performed.
