摘要 PURPOSE:To make a control device available for a variety of applications by a method wherein the negative pressure of air intake for an engine displayed by an engine dynamo meter is controlled by increasing and decreasing in sequence the opening degree of the throttle valve by half the previous opening degree of the valve in accordance with a signal designating the difference between the actual value of the air intake negative pressure and a target value. CONSTITUTION:In the case of the control device for controling automatically the conditions (the number of revolutions and torque) of the engine displayed by the engine dynamo meter, when, for example, the negative pressure of air intake is controlled, the signals from a negative pressure setting device 1 and a negative pressure detector 2 are inputted to a processing device 8 and the output of the device 8 is transmitted to the throttle valve 6 through a throttle valve controller 5. In the processing device 8, the output signal is set at a value half the full opening angle of the throttle valve and after waiting a predetermined period of time, the difference between the set value of the negative pressure and a detected negative pressure value is obtained so that when the difference is larger than an allowable value, the output is increased and decreased in sequence by half the previous output in accordance with the signal designating the difference to thereby obtain a required negative pressure. As a consequence, the control device can be made available for a variety of purposes without depending on the absolute value of the above mentioned difference even when the engine is changed for another.
