PURPOSE:To realize hybrid access by switching a switch to the side of a digital circuit terminating device once a tone signal detector detects a specific signal, and switching it to the 1st terminal once a disconnection detector detects the disconnection of a circuit. CONSTITUTION:When the power source of a digital terminal 4 is turned on, the tone signal detector 8 of the circuit terminating device 10 is placed in a wait state. When a telephone set 5 is put in off-hook operation for origination and a dial tone arrives from an exchange, dialing for access for facsimile communication is carried out and the number of the opposite facsimile terminal is sent at a request from the exchange. A tone signal of single frequency sent from the exchange side is detected by a tone signal detector through a terminal 3 and a switch 9, which connects the terminal to the digital circuit terminating device 6. After the communication, the disconnection detector 7 controls the switch 9 to connect the terminal 3 to an analog telephone set connection terminal 2. |
