PURPOSE:To retrieve accurately the information on the desired sorting item and to simplify the constitution of an information retrieving device, by providing plural detecting means to detect the mark of each sorting for the information stored in a recording medium and delivering the count signals sorted by the output signals of those detecting means. CONSTITUTION:Photosensors 25-29 are provided to a mark detector 11, and the 1st group including sensors 25-27 detects the mark provided at the lower part of a film for each sorting. At the same time, the 2nd group of sensors 28 and 29 detects the mark of the upper part of the film. These sensors 25-27 are arranged in a row with prescribed intervals and in the moving direction of the film. The array of the sensors is held by a block 31 provided on a substrate 30, and the mark detecting signal of the 1st row is delivered. While sensors 28 and 29 are set in a row with a prescribed interval in the moving direction of the film and then held at a block 32 on the substrate 30 to deliver the mark detecting signal of the 2nd row. These 1st and 2nd detecting signals are selected by a film selection switch. Then the sorted count signals are delivered to detect a desired sorting item. |
