摘要 PURPOSE:To read character and mark on an original in a simple way, by setting two reading primary image sensors with a fixed distance and detecting the speed at which both image sensors read the information with a manual feed operation. CONSTITUTION:The photoelectric conversion output of a sensor 7-1 is led to a timing detecting circuit 9 after the picture signal is shaped by an amplifying/ binary coding circuit 8-1. In the same way, the output of a sensor 7-2 undergoes the shaping of picture signal through an amplifying/binary coding circuit 8-2. In this case, a switch 12 is connected to the circuit 9 at first, and the circuit 9 detects the timing difference between the timing of a changing point detected by the sensor 7-1 and that of the sensor 7-2 detected the same changing point as the sensor 7-1. This timing difference is applied to a clock control circuit 10 to change the clock frequency of the sensor 7-2. Then the switch 12 is switched to a memory part 11, and the photoelectric conversion output of the sensor 7-2 is stored successively to the memory 11. Thus a character type signal compensated to a correct size is delivered to a terminal 13.
