PURPOSE:To efficiently carry out eath-filling, by forming an opening with a closable gate in one end of a hull, by arranging a sediment hold extending in the londitudinal direction of the hull, and as well providing a sediment pusher plate for pressingly driving sediment loaded within the hold in the longitudinal direction of the hull and discharging the same through the opening. CONSTITUTION:There are provided an opening with a closable door in one end of a hull, a sediment hold extending in the longitudinal direction of the hull and a sediment pusher plate 24 for pressingly driving sediment loaded within the hold in the longitudinal direction of the hull and discharging the same through the opening. Thus, sediment 16 spontaneously and gently slides down to the sea bottom 13 along the edge part of an earth-filled section with the progress of earth filling, thereby water pollution may be reduced and the earth filling may be efficiently carried out. |
