This accessory combines a rotating brush 8 driven by an associated electric motor 16, the casing 1 which carries the brush and encloses the electric motor forming an intake nozzle 4 which at least partially surrounds the periphery of the brush, being concentric with the axis of the latter, the surface of the suction orifice 19 being parallel to and at a small distance from the brushing plane of the brush.
