PURPOSE:To make a blowoff quantity of air large, by a method wherein the width of an air duct of blowoff air is widened by moving a partition plate of a motor chamber partially toward a compressor side centering around the surface of the partition plate facing a flow-off port of an upper whirlpool casing. CONSTITUTION:A partition plate 17 of a motor chamber is made to raise from a base 15 by avoiding a support 16 of a compressor 9 and a distance of the partition plate 17 from the other side cover 18 of a condenser is made large by moving the partition plate 17 toward a compressor 9 side at a part of a position of a height of the partition plate 17 confronting to a jet 19 of an upper whirlpool casing (as outlined by a sketch). The titled air conditioner is so consituted that a useless space around the compressor 9 is eliminated and a width of an air duct at a part against which blow-off air generated by a fan has been hit directly becomes wider. With this construction, a blow-off air quantity can be increased through a simple structure. |
