Large-area heating system having a flowable heat carrier, a pump for circulating said heat carrier and large-area heating elements, characterised in that the heat carrier is hydraulically separated via a heat exchanger in a manner known per se from the heating circuit of a central heating installation, it being the case that the pump housing simultaneously forms the housing of the heat transfer device and is subjected at its heat-dissipating surface to the spin of the pump.
