Tool, in particular portable tool, for fitting a clamp constituted by a hand (5) comprising a first stop member (7), a second stop member (8) which is tearable upon clamping, said tool comprising a shoe (1a) abutting on the first stop member (7) of the clamp and a movable member (3) sliding with respect to the shoe (1a) and adapted to exert a tension on the band, characterized in that the said movable member (3), which is preferably coupled to a motor element such as for example pneumatic jack, is provided at its active end with a hinged nosepiece (10) presenting a shoulder (10a) which comes into contact with the second stop member (8) of the clamp during the displacement of the movable member and which causes tearing of the said second stop member when the tensile stress reaches an adequate value. |
