PURPOSE:To prevent magnetic interference to other magnetic detectors by facing a stator core and a stator base of a detector to a reluctor with a projection extended to the axial direction of a distributor shaft for forming a magnetic path only in the projection of the reluctor. CONSTITUTION:A reluctor 19 with a projection 191 is fixed on a weight table 14. When the projection 191 is faced to a top 185 of a stator core 181 by the rotation of a shaft 11, a projection 186 of a stator base 183 is faced to the said projection 191, and consequently a magnetic flux phi2 of a magnetic path consisting of a magnet 182, the stator core 181, the projection 191, and the stator base 183 is increased to the maximum. Furthermore, when the shaft 11 is rotated not to face to the top, the magnetic flux phi2 is rapidly reduced. In this construction, since the magnetic flux phi2 uses only the projection 191 of the reluctor 19 for its magnetic path, a magnetic flux phi1 for controlling ignition timing is free from magnetic interference. |
