PURPOSE:To avoid the replacement of an image senor even if a little defective bits take place, by eliminating a scanning clock in the timing where a picture signal is outputted from the defective bits of the image sensor. CONSTITUTION:A memory 8 storing the position information of the defective bit of the image sensor 1 is provided in a picture processor having the image sensor such as CCD as an input means. Further, the switching of a gate group 5 is controlled based on the control inforation of an output of the memory 8. The gate group 5 eliminates the scanning clock 6 applied to a timing picture processing section 7 when the picture signal 2 is outputted from the defective bit of the image sensor 1. Thus, even if there exists some defective bits in the image sensor, the picture signal having a sufficient quality is attained without replacing the image sensor. |
