The invention consists in reducing the distortions of an amplified signal which are due to the non-linearity of a high-frequency amplifier 1, having complex non-linearity coefficients, by carrying out two independent feedback controls: controlling two parameters of the amplified signal (envelope and phase) by feedback to the same two parameters respectively of the signal to be amplified. The device according to the invention has a universal character and requires no special adjustment due to the nature of the amplifier to be linearised or to the nature of the signal to be amplified.
