PURPOSE:To construct a pier rapidly by moving a pile supporter with a pile supporting tool to the nose end of the pier, driving a pile to a submarine ground while it is supported by the pile supporting tool and installing a floor block to the upper sections of the piles, while the head sections thereof are aligned. CONSTITUTION:The pile supporter 1 is moved so that key bars 4 are projected in front of the pier 2, and the piles 3 are erected and grasped by the key bars 4. The piles 3 are driven to the submarine ground 12 by a vibro-hammer 11, etc. The head sections of each pile 3 are aligned to the same height through cutting, etc., and the floor block 9 is installed so that the nose projections 9b of short piles 9a are fitted to the head sections of each pile 3. Rails 5 are laid to the extended section of the pier 2, and the same process is repeated in succession to construct the pier of predetermined length. |
