PURPOSE:In a zig for working a flange having thin tubular circumferential face, to improve working accuracy by enclosing air-tightly and working while encapsulating liquid thereby suppressing vibration during work. CONSTITUTION:A wire is applied through an eye bolt 17 of a zig 1 temporarily stopping a work W, then suspended entirely to mount through a plurality of spacers S on a table T of a turning machine. After centering accurately with reference to the outer diameter section of base chamber 4, it is fixed through bolts 3 to the table T. Then an adjusting bolt 9 is manipulated to move a ring slide 6 up and down to adjust position. Thereafter water is injected through an opening into the work W, to replace with air in the work W. After filled with water, compressed air is fed to apply inner pressure then perform working of flange. |
