PURPOSE:To make the size of a locker smaller by a method in which a wedging part of a structure in which sloped portions are alternately and slidably coupled with each other in a multi-stage form is slid along its sloped portion for adjusting the height, and chocks are lowered along racks. CONSTITUTION:The wedging parts 14 and 15 of wedges 16 and 17 are reciprocally moved by a pusher 20 under the condition that pinions coupled with racks are braked, and the parts 14 and 15 are slid mutually along the sloped portion 18 for adjusting the heights. Chocks 11 are vertically moved and coupled. The shaft 12a is driven, a chock reciprocal moving means 13 is operated, and the chocks 11 are pushed out toward the rack 5 side and coupled mutually. The wedges 16 and 17 are moved backwards, the wedge 28 is fitted into the space between the chock 11 and the fixed frame 26, and the chock 11 and the rack 25 are locked together. The wedges 16 and 17 are further advanced and fitted into the space between the platform 4 and the chock 11 and then locked by a wedge regulating means 22, and the braking of the pinions is released. |
