The invention relates to a support enabling funeral sheaves to be raised up and stabilised while they are being decorated by florists, and enabling their subsequent handling to be facilitated. It comprises two lower bearing points B and B', equidistant from the centre of the sheaf A, and two vertical points C and C' which are inserted into the sheaf A via the bottom of the latter. The base of these vertical points is located 5 to 10 cm from the ground. The dimensions of the supports vary according to the dimensions of the sheaf. The number of supports used for a sheaf varies according to the length of the sheaf. They may or may not be joined together. <IMAGE>
