<p>The aerating device has air feed lines running along the bottom of an aeration tank, the lines being provided with numerous air outlet orifices. Above the orifices, there are guide tubes having a height of 30-250 cm and an internal diameter of 10-100 cm. At the upper end, the guide tubes have a ring which narrows the internal cross-section and has a width of 0.1 to 0.02 times the height of the guide tube. Spin blades can be fitted to the inside of the guide tube. The aeration device is especially suitable for liquids with up to 10% of suspended solids. Very particularly, it can be used for aerating effluent or, quite generally, for oxidations in chemical technology.</p> |
