PURPOSE:To prevent creation of noise due to vibration of a pulsative burner device, to facilitate mounting of a device, and to cause a detector to be located away from a high temperature atmosphere, by conducting and detecting the combustion light of a combustion chamber through an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:Light from a light conducting member 28 is guided to the one end of an optical fiber 29 coupled to an optical fiber connector 27. In order to reliably conduct a combustion light produced due to explosion of pulse combustion, the detecting end of the light conducting member 28 is inserted into a combustion chamber 20 so that it is positioned on the downstream of a burner head 19, i.e., to the side of the combustion chamber 20. The combustion light within the combustion chamber 20 is conducted from the light conducting member 28 to a light detecting element 24 through an optical fiber connector 27, an optical fiber 29, an optical fiber connector 26, and an optical fiber 25. This enables detection of a combustion condition through utilization of a limited space and gap, and allows prevention of creation of noise due to vibration of a pulse burner device. |
