PARALLEL CONNECTING SYSTEM BETWEEN MULTI-FUNCTION TELEPHONE SET AND CONVENTIONAL TELEPHONE SET

PURPOSE:To relieve the load of a central controller and to improve the processing capability by ORing information from a conventional telephone set connected in parallel with a multi-function telephone set and the information from the latter telephone set on a subscriber line. CONSTITUTION:Channels 102 of the multi-function telephone set MFT and the conventiolal telephone set RXTm are connected in parallel and to the subscriber line LIN. Further, a control line 101 for transmitting information is connected between the telephone set MFT and a multi-function telephone set controller muTC, and a control line 103 for transmitting and receiving numerical dial and hook information and the like is connected between the device MTC and the line LIN. The line LIN is provided with an AND gate ANDing the input from a loop detecting circuit connected to the channel 102 and an input from the telephone set MFT. A bus control circuit is controlled by the result of OR between both the telephone sets MFT and EXTm to relieve the load of the central controller, allowing to connect both the telephone sets MTF and EXTm in parallel.
