PURPOSE:To attain the transmission of an opposite subscriber number by inputting information relating to the name of the opposite subscriber in a telephone device servicing the opposite subscriber via a communication exchange network. CONSTITUTION:When the name of the opposite subscriber is inputted from a name inputting section 33 and the opposite subscriber number is transmitted, a caller depresses an off-hook button 23 and a name display button 29 and inputs the name of the opposite subscriber from a name inputting button 33. Since the name of the opposite subscriber is displayed on a display section 21, when a number display button 30 is depressed, a control section 8 reads the name stored in a memory 7, and when the name is coincident each other, the opposite subscriber number stored on the same address is read and displayed on a display section 22. When the caller confirms the number and depresses a send button 25, the displayed opposite subscriber number is transmitted to an exchange station for attaining servicing. |
